Our Story
The AWEdacity Media Group is a multimedia production entity with primary offices based in New Jersey but operating fully and exclusively as an online entity. It is the culmination of works and collaborations originally set in motion by Domani Vision Film Society LLC, its parent company, and now integrated under one roof.
Originally operating as a non-profit organization in New York City, DVFS was the founding and curating powerhouse behind the globally-renowned film festival, Visionfest: The Other Festival, which ran as an annual, "live" event from 2001 to 2015, holding memorable and successful showcases in prestigious venues like the Tribeca Cinemas, the Cantor Film Center at NYU, and the USS Intrepid Sea-Air-Space Museum, with our event being the first film festival ever to be hosted on the legendary aircraft carrier-turned-museum. DVFS transformed into an LLC in 2015, when the film festival lost its primary screening venue, the Tribeca Cinemas, to real estate developers who converted the theater to house corporate offices and retail outlets. DVFS continued to carry the Visionfest moniker forward with its annual Feature & Short Screenwriting Competition, an offshoot of the original film festival event and, thanks to its durability and eloquent programming model, among one of the most recognized and respected screenwriting competitions in the country.

Founded by music producer and indie filmmaker and screenwriter, Bruno Derlin, working with his long-time collaborators Mark Doyle, Charlie Iacono, and Frank Iacono, AWEdacity delivers full development, production, and finishing services for music and video projects. TheAWEdacity also manages and curates the works of several indie pop artists, including dzetAmore, rain derlin, Zdave, Jander, Sam I, and Derlin X1.
